Global Invoice
Global Invoice is a project at Volvo to implement changes required by EU legislation. The new legislation requires additional information on the invoice to secure VAT collection and control. For the suppliers using the Odette standard, a transition to Edifact is required and for suppliers already using Edifact, a new version of the INVOIC message is required. This means that all suppliers sending invoices electronically to the Volvo Group are affected. The deadline has passed for the completion of the project, therefore it is necessary for those suppliers that remain to migrate as soon as possible.
Global Freight Invoice Migration
The Global Freight Invoice Migration concerns the migration for present carriers using D93 standard. These carriers have to migrate to the new Global standard for Freight Invoices.
Global Logistic Edifact Message Migration Project (GLEMM)
The purpose of this project is to migrate from the old DELINS/DELFOR and AVIEXP/DESADV messages to the new message versions, Global DELFOR based on D.04A and Global DESADV based on D.00A.
This migration shall be finalized during 2007 and involves the main part of Volvo's suppliers and the Renault Truck's suppliers that are in Volvo's gateway.
